Oleksandr Shovkovskyy incurred an injury before the league game away to Metalist, the last one this season, which made him unavailable not only for the Kharkiv match. The goalkeeper will now be ruled out for Ukraine’s warm-up games, both on away soil, as part of their 2010 World Cup preparation campaign. The Blue-Yellows face the Netherlands May 24 and take on Sweden June 1.
With Oleh Husyev, Taras Mykhalyk and Oleh Dopilka also on the sidelines, Andriy Nesmachnyy and Vitaliy Mandzyuk are the two Dynamo players to have been called up by Oleksiy Mykhaylychenko.
