Ukraine hosted Slovenia at the Arena-Lviv.
Five FC Dynamo Kyiv performers were in the Yellow-Blues starting lineup: Yevhen Khacheridi, Serhiy Rybalka, Denys Harmash, Serhiy Sydorchuk and Andriy Yarmolenko.
The latter became one of the key players of the game. 22 minutes into the match Andriy Yarmolenko opened the score. He obtained the ball inside the penalty area, eluded two defenders and hit the far bottom corner.
54 minutes into the game Yarmolenko found Fedetskyi on the right flank, Artem put a low cross into the box and Yevhen Selezniov netted the ball.
Six minutes before the time another Kyivans made a substitute appearance – Artem Kravets.
The return match will take place on November 17 inMaribor.
