Paul Doolin |
On Tuesday Drogheda United manager Paul Doolin answered journalists' questions regarding Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match against FC Dynamo Kyiv. A pre-match press conference took place in the Hyatt Regency Hotel Kyiv.
- Mr. Doolin, which Dynamo players impressed you the most?
- There are many highly skilled and well-qualified football players in Dynamo. Some of them are capped by the Ukrainian national team. Anyway I would mark Aliyev, Ghioane, Vukojević and Milevskyy. These players are probably the most dangerous for us.
- There is also some local talk of the tie with Spartak Moscow in the next round. Don't you think it's too early for Dynamo to discuss this question?
- I don’t worry too much about what people say. Football is a funny game and anything can happen.
- Have you changed your opinion about Dynamo club after the match in Dublin?
- No, I have not. But I do feel that Dynamo might have changed their opinion of us, from the game in Dublin. When our teams met in Dalymount Park last week, it was an exciting game. I was delighted with how we played as I said after the game.
- How many players arrived in Kyiv? Are there any injuries in the team?
- 20 players came with me. All of them are available for selection. Nobody is injured.
