Spanish refereeing team, led by César Muñiz Fernández, will be in charge of the UEFA Europa League Group E match between Belarusian side BATE and Dynamo Kyiv at the Dinamo stadium in Minsk on Thursday.
Born in Belgium in 1970, Fernández made his La Liga debut in 2000 and was awarded his FIFA badge in 2007. The 40-year-old referee has never officiated Dynamo matches, but he was in charge of Shakhtar's away win over Toulouse FC in the Europa League group stage last season.
In Minsk, his two assistants will be José Fernández Miranda and Javier Novoa Robles with Carlos Delgado Ferreiro on fourth official duties. The additional assistant referees Antonio Rubinos Pérez and Alfonso Alvarez Izquierdo will patrol the goal lines.
