On Thursday, July 10, Dynamo Kyiv played the third friendly match as part of their training camp in Austria, where our team is preparing for the new 2025/2026 season. The opponent of the "white-blue" team was one of the leaders of the Danish Super League - Midtjylland from the city of Herning.
In the first minutes both teams were active, exchanging potentially dangerous moments. Supryaha shoot twice but our striker failed to finish the job. At one point, after a corner kick, Yarmolenko dropped the ball to Popov, who headed it into the corner of the goal, but almost missed.
Once again, the same Supryaha almost scored when Shaparenko gave a good pass to the left to Vivcharenko, who made a cross into the penalty area, but Vladyslav failed to turn this moment into a goal. But within a few minutes our team took the lead: after Vanat's cross, the ball ended up on the opposite flank to Yarmolenko, Andriy passed the ball back to the penalty area, and after a scramble, Pikhalyonok received the ball, directing the ball into the net from close range – 1:0.
Midtjylland responded no less dangerously: Morgun had to save his team after a shot by Franculino from the edge of the penalty area – Valentin made a spectacular and effective save. But Francolino took full advantage of his next opportunity: squeezing between two of our defenders, the Midtjylland striker hit the far corner of the goal – 1:1. Once again, Morgun won the duel with Franculino and reacted to his powerful shot into the goal area, saving his team.
At the beginning of the second half, the Danes were able to take the lead when Gogorza received a pass from the left, moved a little to the center and from 13-14 meters hit an accurate shot, putting his team ahead – 1:2. Soon, during one attack, the Danes threatened the Kyiv goal twice. The closest to success was Etim, who hit the post! But in the next attack he managed to achieve his goal: after a pass from his partner on the right, Etim from the edge of the penalty area sent the ball into the net in a touch – 1:3.
After all the Dynamo players were replaced in the 61st minute, the new team with new forces went forward. Yatsyk’s shot almost missed, Torres did not hit the ball properly, other attempts by the Ukrainians also, unfortunately, were unsuccessful.
