Dynamo Kyiv are just a single point away from winning this season's domestic championship after a 0-1 victory against FC Zorya Luhansk on Sunday.
The Kyivers produced a battling performance in Luhansk with some dangerous scoring chances from Ismaël Bangoura and Oleksandr Aliyev. However, a spectacular overhead kick at the beginning of the second half from Romanian midfielder Tiberiu Ghioane proved enough to claim all three points against Zorya. After a spell of Dynamo’s pressure, the home custodian was helpless when Tiberiu fired a blistering goal in the 52nd minute to take the lead for his side.
Thus, the White-Blues need just one point from their four remaining fixtures to seal their thirteenth Ukrainian Premier league title.
