Dynamo coach Yuriy Semin gave his reaction to today's draw for the UEFA Cup quarter-finals and semi-finals:
- Dynamo Kyiv have been drawn against French side PSG. What can you say about your opponents?
- First of all, we should study Paris Saint-Germain FC thoroughly and examine their recent performances. Only then can we talk about our rivals’ strength. Unfortunately, I don’t know this side quite well, but I am sure that there are no weak teams at this stage of the competition. All competitors have equal chances. But first we have to focus on our upcoming league match with FC Arsenal Kyiv, as we intend to do everything step by step. In my opinion, it’s too early to think about an all-Ukrainian semi-final. If we progress, then we concentrate on the next stage.
- How do you assess Shakhtar’s chances against Marseille?
- I think Shakhtar’s chances are the same as ours - 50/50. I hope, both teams will improve Ukraine's coefficient rating by reaching the UEFA Cup semi-final. That’s the most important thing.
