- I featured for Montpellier for four yeas before moving to Kyiv. Maybe I’ll spend four years here. Every player has his dreams and ambitions. I also have a desire to essay my powers in another league.
- In Ukraine you had to adapt to actually new world…
- Of course I experienced some discomfort, but everything is fine already. My adaptation is over.
- Have we already seen your best play?
- You haven’t. I’ve demonstrated only 60-70% of what I can.
- How difficult will it be to outplay Valencia CF within the Europa League?
- Playoffs differ from group stage. There are only top clubs left. We have no right for mistake.
- Is it useless to compete against FC Shakhtar Donetsk within the UPL?
- They aren’t better team than Dynamo.
- Still they are richer…
- Money doesn’t play key role in football. Montpellier aren’t reach team, but we won Ligue 1.
- Can you play alongside Roman Bezus?
- That depends upon tactical scheme.
- Media criticize Oleh Blokhin a lot. Do you feel the pressure he experiences?
- I don’t as I can’t understand what they write.
- Blokhin speaks only Russian. Is it a problem for you?
- I think that foreign players who come to Ukraine must study local language. I want to understand what Blokhin tells us. Anyway football slang is rather simple.
- Is it surprising for you that young Yevhen Makarenko has got regular starting spot instead of Benoit Tremoulinas?
- I can’t discuss head coach’s choice. At the moment Makarenko is in better conditions. Still I know that Tremoulinas is a very good defender!
- Is it easy to rouse you?
- I’m rather explosive on the pitch, so one shouldn’t make me angry (smiling).
- Is it more difficult to play in Ligue 1 than in UPL?
- It’s more difficult in Ukraine. Opponents always do their best featuring against Dynamo.
- Can you compare Ukrainian and French referees?
- There are problems with refereeing in any league. This is a part of football. Everyone makes mistakes.
