FC Dynamo Kyiv keep getting ready for the new season in Austria. On Saturday, July 8, our team played the second friendly – against the Austrian side Wolfsberger AC.
Dynamo took the lead in the 6th minute. Liedniev obtained the ball and hit the far corner from the box line – 1:0.
Due to the hot weather referee made small breaks in each half so that players could have some water. Right after the first one Kyivans increased the lead. Liedniev rushed into the penalty area, eluded two opponents and passed to Kabayev, who sent the ball into the net.
As the second half kicked off the White-Blues scored again. Shepelev headed the ball in after pass from Andriyevskyi. Later Kabayev got a brace to his name: Vladyslav hit the target after a good combination and pass from Karavayev.
Dynamo mostly played in attacking half and created a lot of chances. Eventually Benito received the pass from Voloshyn and netted the ball over goalkeeper.
The White-Blues kept attacking and spectators, including a lot of Ukrainians, witnessed three more goals. At first Karavayev passed towards Buialskyi, Vitaliy didn’t touch the ball, Yarmolenko obtained it and marked his return to Dynamo with a great goal.
In a minute Yarmolenko played one-two with Buialskyi and Vitaliy scored quite effortlessly. And then Benito finished it off with another goal after assist from Yarmolenko.
So, it’s 8:0 for Dynamo. Our next friendly will take place on July 12 – against the Swiss side BSC Young Boys.
