For the first time it was won by FC Dynamo Kyiv in 2004. Back then, on July 10, the White-Blues defeated FC Shakhtar Donetsk in Odesa – 1:1 (6:5 on penalties).
The original trophy was taken to the museum of our club forever after Kyivans won it for the fourth time.
In 2010 new model of the national Super Cup was presented. As a rule after victory winners fill it with champagne.
The weight of the trophy is 6 kg. It’s 54 cm wide. Soon it will find new holder. We hope that will be our team!
