Match officials from Sweden have been selected to work at the Ukrainian League match Shakhtar Donetsk – Dynamo Kyiv.
Peter Fröjdfeldt will be responsible for running the action on the field. Fröjdfeldt started refereeing in 1992. He moved up to the highest Swedish league, the Allsvenskan in 1997, and earned his FIFA badge in 2001. The Swedish referee is a regular face on the international fields. He was honored to take charge of the 2008 UEFA Cup Final, one of the biggest appointments for a UEFA referee.
Peter Fröjdfeldt is no stranger to both sides in the UEFA Champions League. In the 2003/2004 season, he oversaw Dynamo's 2-0 victory against FC Lokomotiv (Moscow), Three years later, he refereed the Miners' 2-2 draw with Valencia (Spain).
In Donetsk, the 45-year-old referee will be accompanied by three compatriots - assistant referees Magnus Sjöblom and Peter Martinsson, and fourth official Martin Ingvarsson. Yuriy Makhno and Oleksandr Kran will act as FFU delegate and inspector, respectively.
