Many supporters came to say goodbye to famous player and coach Andriy Husin.
He tragically died in a motorcycle accident. Andriy was 41 years old…
Andriy Husin represented generation of players which became famously known in Europe in late 1990s. In 1998/99 season FC Dynamo Kyiv under the charge of Valeriy Lobanovskyi reached the Champions League semifinal.
Husin won the Ukrainian Premier League seven times, Ukrainian Cup four times with the White-Blues and featured in 2006 World Cup quarterfinal for Ukraine national team.
After the end of his career Husin started coaching. He worked with Dynamo-2, FC Krylia Sovetov Samara and FC Anzhi Makhachkala.
He was a great sincere person, had his vision of training process.
Hundreds of people came to see him this day. They entered the room one by one, left flowers, said last words.
His family, friends, Dynamo players of different generations, Football Federation of Ukraine functionaries and others were also there.
People brought a lot of funeral wreaths that formed a corridor. Andriy Husin was taken to the catafalque through it. After the last honour lap the car left for the Baikove Cemetery…
It seems that God is gathering a football team in heaven…
Andriy Husin was buried in front of graves of Valentyn Belkevych and Andriy Bal.
