Dynamo’s attacking leader Andriy Shevchenko talked to the club’s official site journalist ahead of Thursday’s Europa League group stage match against FC Sheriff (Moldova).

- It’s become a tradition for me to mark my birthday in a working atmosphere. It will be the best present for me if we win tomorrow. I really want my team partners to make such present for me.
- What kind of gifts do you usually get?
- The most important for me is people’s attention. I’m really happy to receive calls from friends that I haven't seen for ages. I've already had millions and congratulations today. That’s always very nice.
- What's the most original present?
- That was when my children congratulated me in Ukrainian.
- What Dynamo must do to overcome Sheriff?
- First of all, we must play in our football and be confident that all our efforts will bring us success.
- Which match is more important: against Shakhtar or against Sheriff?
- I’m sure that both of them are very important. At the moment we think about tomorrow’s match and after that we’ll start to think about the match against Shakhtar.
- Shakhtar have more time to get ready for the upcoming match against Dynamo. Will that give them an advantage?
- We cannot complain about our match calendar. Shakhtar have a difficult schedule too as they take part in the UEFA Champions League. It’s great they have won yesterday. These are very important points for Ukraine.
