Those are the main squad under the charge of Serhiy Rebrov, U-21 and U-19 teams. We’ve discussed this success with sporting director of our club Olexiy Mykhailychenko.
- Three Dynamo teams have won titles. Is it a good result?
- It’s good, but such results aren’t some extraordinary achievement. That’s normal and that’s the way it must always be. We had failures over recent years, so it’s great to be back where we were. Youth teams’ task is to train players for the main squad. They must always struggle for the first place.
- Is the main squad second title in a row more valuable than the first one?
- They’re different. The first one we won after really long break which was extremely difficult to do. Still it’s even more difficult to preserve the title. Anyway we’ve deserved that. Second place is impermissible for Dynamo. We need only the first.
- They say leading players will leave Dynamo in summer. Will it be difficult to substitute them?
- It won’t be easy to substitute such performers as Yarmolenko, Dragovic and Vida at once, but that’s natural for any club. This is a chance for youngsters. We’ll see what they’re capable of. Anyway we haven’t got any transfer offers yet.
- Do you already know which youngsters will go to the training camp with the main squad?
- Not yet. I can only say that a big group of loanees will rejoin the team. Internationals will be absent. I think several youngsters will have an opportunity to work with the main squad.
