Dynamo Kyiv picked up another win in their Premier League campaign on Sunday by beating FC Metalurh Donetsk 0-2 to move fifteen points clear at the top of the table.
Oleksandr Aliyev broke the deadlock from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time after Artem Milevskyy had been upended in the area by Metalurh goalkeeper Dišljenković. As a result of the incident, the Serbian goalie was dismissed and was replaced by Dmytro Vorobyov. Aliyev made no mistake from the spot as he stroked the ball in the left corner with the substitute diving the other way.
In the second half, Ognjen Vukojević made it 0-2 when he jumped highest to head in Carlos Corrêa's corner on 55 minutes. The match, however, ended in disappointment for our team as Dynamo defender Taras Mykhalyk damaged his meniscus and unable to continue. Having used all three substitutes, Dynamo were therefore forced to complete the match with ten men.
