During the medical examination at Dobrobut clinic, FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Maxym Diachuk shared his expectations of the training camp and told about the most memorable game of the last year.
- Maxym, how was your vacation?
- At first I went home. Then returned to Kyiv after which went to Bukovel. After that I was getting ready for the training camp in Kyiv.
- What’s your best football memory in 2023?
- I guess it was the win against Aris. The game was intense. The penalty shootout was very emotional.
- You’re going to have your first training camp under the charge of Olexandr Shovkovskyi. Do you think it will differ from what you had with Lucescu?
- I think there will be differences. Besides we’ve got a coach who’ll be working with defenders.
- Have you worked with him before?
- Yes, I worked with Serhiy Fedorov in Dynamo U19. He did a lot for me.
- They say Dynamo are looking for another center back. Do you feel any pressure?
- I focus on my performance, analyze my mistakes not to make them in future. There’s no pressure. Competition is a part of football.
- Have you analyzed any teams you’ll face at the training camp?
- I haven’t. The goal of the training camp is to get into shape. I think we’ll have good friendlies.
