FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Kyrylo Pashko has told about the start of the Austrian training camp, his adaptation, expectations of friendlies and his role model in the first team:
- You’ve been working with the first team for over two weeks. What’re your impressions?
- It’s harder than with U19. Things are much faster, but on the other hand much more interesting. You can actually feel your progress.
- What’s the hardest part?
- At first it was really hard physically, but then you get accustomed and things get easier.
- There’s a lot of running early in the training camp. How’re you dealing with that?
- I guess nobody likes running, but it’s necessary. We need to run for 90 minutes in a game or for 120 sometimes.
- You’re the youngest in the team. How did older teammates greet you?
- I really like it here. Of course one can yell from time to time, but that’s okay in grownup teams.
- Which player do you look up to?
- Everyone’s helpful. If I need to pick one, that would be Andrii Yarmolenko as we play in the same position.
- Are you looking forward to meeting him on the field?
- Sure, it’s a great honor to play alongside a player, who used to perform in the English Premier League and Bundesliga. That will be a very important experience for me.
- Is there anything peculiar you noticed about his attitude and work?
- He’s a great professional. No matter the age he has a passion for football. That’s very motivating.
- Who do you communicate with the most?
- Probably with Anton Tsarenko, we’re good palls.
- Dynamo are going to face decent teams at this training camp. Are you excited?
- Sure. You should always test yourself against good opponents.
