Dynamo's Guinean international Ismaël Bangoura knows much about French football having spent four years in Le Mans UC 72 and GFCO Ajaccio prior to joining Dynamo in 2007. The striker told Dynamo official site correspondent about his expectations for the UEFA Cup quarter-final tie against French side Paris Saint-Germain FC.
- Ismaël, how do you assess Dynamo’s chances to beat PSG and progress to the UEFA Cup semi-final?
- First of all, I’m very glad we will face this team in the quarter-final. Presently, they are not the most dangerous opponents. We'll do our best to gain victory in Paris because a draw won't be enough for us.
- Can we say that this team is the weakest one among all the possible rivals?
- I don’t mean they are the weakest rivals. The fact they reached the UEFA Cup quarterfinal proves that.
- In case the White-Blues progress to the next stage, which team would you prefer to face - Marseille or Shakhtar?
- I would definitely like to face Marseille. I don’t want to offend Shakhtar and their supporters, but my preferences are for French team. Besides we will have an opportunity to play with the Miners this season. I mean our Ukrainian championship and Ukrainian Cup matches. As for Marseille, we watch French Ligue 1 encounters every weekend and know a lot about their playing style and tactics, while Dynamo remains unknown team to them. However, we are ready to play against any team.
