Dynamo Kyiv continued their winter training schedule with a 2-0 friendly win over Norwegian Tippeligaen side Viking FK.
Artem Milevskyy broke the deadlock on 34 minutes. Aliyev’s throw fell to the forward and Artem didn’t waste the opportunity to open the score. However, the opponents proved to be a tough nut to crack. Sixth in the Norwegian Premier Division, the team played well-organised football and were quite dangerous on attacks.
In the second half Kravets, Husyev and Cernat all squandered the few chances to settle the matter. But the second goal finally arrived with just seven minutes remaining. Florin Cernat found Maksim Shatskikh with a fine pass into the area and the Uzbek international fired the ball past Viking’s goalkeeper from close range.
Next friendly will be held on Monday, 26 January. Dynamo Kyiv will face KP Legia from Poland.
