Dynamo Kyiv played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with SpVgg Unterhaching from Germany in their first friendly match in Spain on Sunday.
The White-Blues went on the attack right from the start but German third-division strugglers Unterhaching looked strong enough to withstand pressure from the Ukrainian club. Kravchenko, Milevskyy and Husyev all had a chance to open the score for their side just after the kick-off, but the breakthrough came after 12 minutes. Despite taking the lead early on thanks to Artem Milevskyy’s strike, Dynamo could not hold on to their slender advantage. It took just one minute for the German side to level the matters. Against the run of play Unterhaching then grabbed the lead after a smart counter-attack. However, Yuriy Semin’s men quickly equalised through Bangoura and restored their side's advantage soon after. The second half saw only one goal, but it was not in Dynamo’s favour.
The Kyivers will play their next friendly match against Norwegian club, Viking FK, on Thursday 22 January.
