Belgian referee Frank De Bleeckere has been chosen to oversee Thursday's UEFA Cup quarter-final meeting between Dynamo Kyiv and Paris Saint-Germain in Kyiv.
He will be assisted by his compatriots Peter Hermans and Danny Huens, while Luc Wouters will act as fourth official. Stanislaw Speczik of Poland and Rune Pedersen of Norway will act as UEFA delegate and UEFA referee observer, respectively.
Born in the town of Oudenaarde, the 42-year-old took up refereeing back in 1984 and was awarded his FIFA badge in 1998. Two years later, in 2000, he made his international debut. Frank de Bleeckere is no stranger to the White-Blues, having refereed three matches with their participation.
