Dnipro - Dynamo - 0:2. Match report

Tiberiu Ghioane and Artem Milevskyy got their names on the scoresheet as Dynamo Kyiv overcame FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk 0-2 in the Matchday 11 clash on Saturday.

Despite playing most of the match with ten men following the 23rd-minute dismissal of Pavlo Pashaev, the hosts once again proved to be well-organised opponents and provided stiff resistance until Ghioane’s goal midway through the second half. The Romanian player did not miss the chance to give his side the lead, and Artem Milevskyy doubled Dynamo’s lead four minutes from time finding the back of the net from the penalty spot.

Dynamo maintained a six-point lead over second-placed FC Shakhtar in the league table. By the way, the two teams will meet on Wednesday in the Ukrainian Cup quarter-final match.
