The first thing Kyivans noticed when they arrived at the training center in Seefeld was Dynamo emblem on the wall next to emblems of other teams that have already been here or will come later this summer.
Olympiacos FC have spent 11 days here. After the White-Blues leave, Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab FC, Czech club FK Jablonec and the Bundesliga runners-up RB Leipzig will arrive.
It’s interesting that at this training center they recommend players to put boots on not in the locker-room, but on the field. Four goalkeepers and 21 outfield players took part in the first training session. First of all Olexandr Khatskevych told the working plan.
Then there was a scamper that lasted 10 minutes and a warm-up. The major part of the session was dedicated to work with the ball. Goalkeepers had their own program.
Goalkeeper coach Mykhailo Mykhailov has mentioned that the second pitch, which is twice smaller than standard field, is much better for some exercises than the one the White-Blues had at another training center in Austria.
Olexandr Khatskevych had enough time to talk to new coach, who’s joined Dynamo training camp – Romeo Wendler. Croatian specialist used to work for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and VfL Bochum. He’ll familiarize himself with the first team training process after which he’ll take a position at DynamoAcademy.
