Donetsk side coach and players have shared their expectations of the game:
Mircea Lucescu (head coach)
- The full stadium will be supporting Kyivans. Fans can influence both sides and referee! I hope what happened as we faced FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk won’t happen again: we lost points because of referee’s mistakes.
Marlos (halfback)
- Victory will let us catch up with Dynamo. There will be true battle as everyone wants to win. All Kyivans’ players are strong and they’ll be using that. I think only junior Moraes is a bit different performer. He can surprise us.
Eduardo (striker)
- We always get ready for matches against Kyivans very thoroughly. These games are like Champions League. It’s difficult to predict how Dynamo will act. Our aim is victory. Draw will be unsatisfactory outcome for Shakhtar.
Olexandr Hladkyi (striker)
- We realize how important this game is. This is Ukrainian derby! Our matches against Dynamo are always difficult and interesting. We’ll do our best to win.
