The following day after the friendly against PFC Levski Sofia, Mircea Lucescu’s men had a reconditioning day.
The team enjoyed all the facilities of Titanic Mardan Palace wellness centre.
On the 7th day of the training camp the White-Blues had two sessions scheduled. The weather in Antalya was warm and sunny on Sunday.
At the morning session, the warm-up was very intense. Players did short sprints.
After possession practice in squares, Kyivans were offered more exercises aimed at speed and coordination. Then the team was divided into two groups. The first one worked on finishing after crosses while another focused on shots after solo efforts and combinations.
Goalkeepers had a lot of work. Besides, as usually, outfield players and keepers competed. Players were reluctant to leave the field after the session, but anyway they returned here in the afternoon to have another one.
At the second session the team also practiced attacks finishing, but it all started with pressure and possession.
It should be mentioned that 17-year-old goalkeeper Dmytro Pohorilyi has joined the team. Due to Ruslan Neshcheret’s injury, Dynamo fourth keeper at the training camp was Ilarion Tuhai, but he’s left for Spain with Dynamo U19 to play the UEFA Youth League match against Deportivo.
Meanwhile defender Denys Popov was doing individual running exercises under the charge of rehabilitation therapist.
The intense training day finished with players’ favorite mini-tournament with the participation of three teams. The White-Blues were divided into groups according to their age. This time veterans won the contest. Denys Harmash scored the decider.
The new week will start for Dynamo with another friendly. The game against FK Rudar Pljevlja will start at 16:00 Kyiv time (17:00 local time).
