New players joined the team, including FC Dynamo Kyiv performers.
This year nine Kyivans featured for Serhiy Kovalets’ team. Dynamo-2 defender Olexandr Azatskyi made 12 appearances out of 17 possible. Goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan has 11 appearances to his name while Olexiy Khoblenko and Dmytro Khlyobas – 8 each. The latter scored three goals.
Following Dynamo players also performed for Ukraine U-21 this year: Valeriy Boldenkov (7 appearances), Vitaliy Hemeha (3), Artem Besedin (3), Mykyta Burda (1) and Yevhen Chumak (1).
