- You made your debut for Dynamo in August and in a month you became the White-Blues man of the match against Maccabi. Did you find common ground with teammates that quickly?
- Actually it wasn’t difficult for me to understand Dynamo philosophy. I found common ground with teammates quickly. Today nothing prevents me from demonstrating my best qualities.
- Was defeat against Shakhtar the bitterest one in your Dynamo career? Were Shakhtar that good or maybe Dynamo were that bad in that game?
- It was my first game against Shakhtar, so I don’t feel the spirit of this rivalry so far, but anyway defeats by great margin at home are bitter. We didn’t demonstrate our best play.
- You came to Europe when you were 17, but didn’t get the starting spot in Benfica. Were you disappointed?
- I was very ambitious, but soon I had to return home. It seemed my plans wouldn’t come true, but I didn’t give up and kept working. In a year and a half I moved to Switzerland.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- My strength is speed. As for weaknesses, I won’t say anything so that opponents couldn’t use them (smiling).
- Do you already have a nickname in Dynamo?
- Teammates always call me Derlis.
