FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Denys Popov has shared his impressions of first training days and the White-Blues’ newcomer Brayan Ceballos.
- This isn’t your first training day already. Are you getting accustomed?
- We’re having significant exercise load, so things are a bit tough so far. Anyway were doing our best. I thing everyone was getting ready when on vacation.
- This morning you worked out at the gym while in the afternoon practiced on the field...
- Gym is mostly for muscle activation and warm-up. So far we’re mostly running which we “like” a lot. I guess that will change in a while.
- Is running the toughest part so far?
- Definitely. Besides it’s really hot outside.
- What’s the most important thing to do when it’s so hot?
- We’re professionals. Everyone knows what’s best for him to deal with such weather conditions.
- Today the team presented the newcomer. What’re your first impressions of him?
- He’s pretty good with the ball. We’ll see how he performs against Shakhtar (smiling). Generally, if he’s been invited to Dynamo he can’t be a bad player.
- What do you expect of the training camp abroad?
- We don’t think of that yet. At this point we need to recondition physically. At the training camp we’ll practice certain combinations and connections.
