This fixture will also start the matchday 2 in group B.

The game will start at 19:00 (Kyiv time) in Porto Alegre.

The arena of the forthcoming battle will be Estadio Beira-Rio, where SC Internacional play their home matches. The stadium was built in 1969. It has a capacity of 43,394. One Mundial game has already taken place here. France defeated Honduras (3:0).

Matchday 1 was different for Australia and for the Netherlands. Australians lost to Chile (1:3) while Louis van Gaal’s men unexpectedly flattened Spain (5:1). It should be mentioned that FC Dynamo Kyiv player Jeremain Lens performed for the Dutch side in that game. He made a substitute appearance in the second half.

Louis van Gaal has assured everyone that Oranje won’t have problems with dedication as they face Australia:

“Lopsided victory against Spain hasn’t had any impact on my players. The team had a proper reaction to the win, especially experienced performers”.

Australia halfback Mark Bresciano hopes that the Netherlands won’t demonstrate their best play:

“How can we stop them? We just hope that the Dutch side won’t be in their best conditions and we’ll use it”.

Australians’ head coach Angelos Postecoglou also hopes for the positive outcome of the match:

“We know that we must play well for defense. We realize what van Persie and Robben are capable of. Still we must also think about attacking actions”.

The referee of the game will be 43-year-old Algerian Djamel Haimoudi.
