On Tuesday, July 2, a lot of fans came to the Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi to meet the White-Blues’ summer newcomers – halfbacks Maksym Braharu and Oleksandr Pikhalionok.
The conference hall of the stadium was quite crowded. The event included two parts. At first players answered numerous questions both about football and everyday life.
One should mention that halfway through the session lights went off at the stadium, but that didn’t interrupt the event.
Best goal in career
Braharu: The one against Shakhtar (applause).
Pikhalionok: The one against Apollon in the 2022/2023 Europa Conference League.

Braharu: Andrii Yarmolenko. It’s awesome I’ll have a chance to play alongside my childhood idol.
Pikhalionok: Andrii Shevchenko.

Braharu: Oleksandr Syrota.
Pikhalionok: Vitalii Buialskyi.
Favorite position on the field
Braharu: Left winger. I like to attack and create chances for my teammates. I can also be a forward.
Name for your autobiography
Pikhalionok: The Path.
Having answered all the questions players had the “second half”. All the present took photos with Maksym and Oleksandr and got autographs.
Oleksandr Pikhalionok:
- Teammates greeted us really warmly. We’ll be working on our mutual understanding on the field to approach official games in a good shape. What’s more exhausting, two sessions a day or such meetings with fans? We enjoyed this meeting a lot while running when it’s 35 degrees above zero outside isn’t really enjoyable (smiling). But of course we like to work with the ball.
Maksym Braharu:
- The adaptation is going well. We have two sessions a day, communicate with our teammates. We’re becoming a family. Internationals will join us soon. I’m really waiting for Heorhii Bushchan and his jokes (smiling).
