The following day after the game in Odesa, as Dynamo secured the Ukrainian Premier League title, the first team spent a family day at the Porsche Center Kyiv Airport.
The event was organized jointly with the club’s partner, Winner, for the winners – the newly-minted winners of the Ukrainian league.
The event, which took place in the format of a family day, invited the players and the head coach along with their loved ones and children. For guests at the Porsche Center Kyiv Airport, a lounge area with catering – food and drinks – was arranged. And for the youngest guests – a children’s room with animators.
When the whole team gathered at the car dealership, the host of the event, Mykyta Dobrynin, invited everyone present to play a game to test their knowledge of road signs, the winners of which received gifts from Winner.
In the next stage, the participants of the game had to guess which Dynamo player was similar to a certain car model, taking into account its characteristics. Some comparisons were easy for those present to guess, while others came as a surprise. For example, team captain Vitalii Buialskyi was compared to an MG One, Mykola Shaparenko – to a FordNew Puma, Vladyslav Kabayev – to a Volvo C40 Recharge, Oleksandr Tymchyk – to a Porsche Boxter, Vladyslav Dubinchak – to a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, and Andriy Yarmolenko – to a Land Rover Discovery. The most interesting was the comparison of the team’s head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi to a Ford Transit Kombi, a benchmark of reliability.
But the most important event of the Family Drive Day was the actual test drive of the model range presented at the car showroom. Here, guests were presented with a wide selection, and everyone chose for the test what they liked or needed. Some players and their significant others chose family cars, while some, on the contrary, chose more sporty and dynamic ones.
The main exclusives of the dealership’s model range – Bentley New Continental GT Speed and Porsche 911 Carrera – were in the greatest demand.
