- At first we tried to apply pressure, but Wales controlled the ball and coped with that. After that we were supposed to use counterattacks.
- In the second half you defended a lot? Is that difficult for you considering that you’re attacking player?
- I’ve got used to it as that’s what modern football is about. We all attack and defend together.
- How did Ukraine look without Konoplianka in your opinion?
- We all know what kind of player he is. Of course we lacked him, but this is football. Injuries happen. We must be able to play without Yevhen.
- A lot of new players have joined the national team and now you must apply changes again…
- Someone new always joins the national team. No one has guaranteed starting spot. Everyone must prove he deserves it featuring for his club. Those, who’ve made their debut, are good players.
- Will you be satisfied if you defeat everyone by one goal to nil in France?
- Of course I’ll be happy. I guess spectacular play won’t be our priority at Euro-2016. We’re already getting ready for this contest. I hope in France we’ll demonstrate good play and result.
