In the match against Germany (0:2) the Yellow-Blues even dominated on the field from time to time, especially in the first half. The man of the match is Toni Kroos. Hundred per cent (!) of his passes were straight. He took part in 38 attacks, performed six crosses and created five chances for his teammates!
After the game Andriy Yarmolenko stated:
- We’ve lost, but one must realize what team we opposed. Even in the second half we controlled the game.
We could do better, but unfortunately things are what they are. We haven’t lost anything so far. We’ll move forward considering the lesson we’ve got. I hope we’ll manage to qualify for the next stage.
