Dear fans, I can finally say these words to you again...
I sincerely congratulate all of you on the long-awaited title! I’m proud that in this difficult time for the whole country, our team gave bright, victorious emotions to our fans, many of whom learned about this news while defending Ukraine from the russian aggressor. Our guys showed true Dynamo character, indomitable will on the field, devotion to the diamond on their hearts and to Ukrainian football.
It’s especially nice that today the champions are the team where 95% of our Ukrainian guys play, most of whom are trainees of our academy. This is our pride. We didn’t just win gold medals – we proved that Dynamo rely on ourselves.
Our youngsters proved this again as well by defending their title of champions of Ukraine yesterday, once again showing that Dynamo youth school is the best in the country!
I want to tell you some exciting news: at the match against Kolos, we will present updated club logo with the third star, which will have a special meaning and dedication. Believe me, it will be a symbol that will speak louder than words.
Dear fans, this title is not the end, but a new chapter in the glorious history of our Dynamo. We will continue to develop the club, invest in our children’s and youth school and expand social and charitable programs. After all, victories on the football field are just the culmination of the great work that we do together every day.
And the most important thing that I want to emphasize once again… Sincere gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our angels. Our defenders. It is thanks to them that we can play football, cheer, rejoice in victories and simply live in a free, independent Ukraine. Only thanks to you today we say these words… DYNAMO KYIV – CHAMPIONS OF UKRAINE!
