History
Atlético Paranaense was found on March 21, 1924.
In 2005 this team won the Brazilian Serie A. That year Hurricanes also qualified to Copa Libertadores final. In the deciseve match they were defeated by Sao paulo FC. After that FC Shakhtar Donetsk signed Brazilian supporting midfielder Fernandinho.

The manager of Atlético Paranaense is Ricardo Drubscky.
Never being a professional player Brazilian specialist started his career of coach when he was 26. At first he worked as fitness coach in Cruzeiro Esporte Clube.
In 1990s Drubscky left Brazil for Portugal and then Japan to work with youth.
In 1996 he came back to Brazil to head Mamore FC. Since then he worked as manager for 18 different teams!
The 53-year old Drubscky signed contract with Atlético Paranaense in 2012. After that Brazilian side managed to return to Serie A.
Current position
Playing in Serie B Atlético Paranaense won 21 league games (8 draws and 9 losses) and finished third.
In the previous season Atlético Paranaense conceded 37 goals. This was the best defense rate in Serie B.
