Dynamo vs Arsenal. Post-match press conference.
Yuriy Semin, Dynamo head coach:
- If before the game we were told we would draw against such a team as Arsenal, we would be happy. Now that the victory was so close, I feel a bit disappointed with the result but I am very happy with our performance and the good start in the UEFA Champions League. I think we produced a high level of football but we made some mistakes, while Arsenal is an opponent, who forgives no errors.
Arsène Wenger, Arsenal manager:
- The game is a mixture of frustration and relief. The match should be over at half-time because we had clear chances in the first half, but it is a relief because with three minutes to go we were 1-0 down. I felt our level dropped in the second half and we did not create as many chances as we would have liked to. We feel we have lost two points today.
As for Dynamo goal, the penalty was harsh, Sagna is convinced he was pulled with two hands on his own shirt as the guy went down. But we cannot complain about that. We have to deal with that. The referee gave a penalty, so that is that. Besides, I wanted to know how we only played three minutes of injury-time and then, during those three minutes, we only played one minute. Every referee looks to have a different computer to calculate injury-time and I still don't know how it works. He couldn't explain to me, he just told me he felt it was enough.
I think Dynamo played with great spirit and were organised, defending every ball. They did not look really dangerous but were difficult to beat.
