- I’ve already spent more than four month in Kyiv and I have adapted to the team. I like my new flat and I enjoy returning there after training sessions. I live in the heart of the capital of Ukraine and have great city view. I also like going for a walk with my wife. Kyiv is beautiful. Still usually I stay at home and sleep.
- How do you move around the city?
- I haven’t used subway yet, but I think I will. Usually I take the car provided by our club.
- What do you miss in Ukraine?
- I guess French cuisine. Still I’ve got used to Ukrainian food.
- How do you spend free time?
- I can play paintball or go to some restaurant. When I’m in public places I’m always ready for autographs and photos with fans. I wish supporters could attend Dynamo training sessions.
- Which UPL fixture was the most memorable for you?
- It was the game against FC Metalurh Donetsk as we defeated them 9:1. We also performed well against FC Shakhtar Donetsk despite the final score.
- Do you study Russian or Ukrainian language?
- I do, though it’s very difficult for me. Still I already understand many phrases.
- What can you say about Ukrainian refereeing?
- Referees are strict, but they award penalties rarely. I know that Pierluigi Collina is their coordinator, but still they don’t work the way he did.
- Do you like to work with Oleh Blokhin?
- Everything is great. He is a good specialist and real professional. Besides he’s very famous. I enjoy working with him.
- Will the ending of football year be difficult for Dynamo?
- It will, but we must win two games in UPL and two in Europa League to spend vacation in good mood.
- Did you have physical or psychological difficulties in the first part of the season?
- One can always get used to physical load. As for psychological state, it depends upon results Dynamo demonstrate. We had problems, but we have overcome them. If we keep working the way we do we’ll win the UPL.
