Before the starting whistle teams honoured memory of people, who died in Ukraine throughout th erevolution, with a moment of silence.
Supporters also expressed their social position with a help of banners.
Three FC Dynamo Kyiv performers were among the Yellow-Blues first eleven: Yevhen Khacheridi, Denys Harmash (pictured) and Andriy Yarmolenko.
12 minutes into the game Harmash didn’t score in one-on-one situation, but as US keeper Tim Howard parried the ball Ukrainian halfback obtained it again. He passed to Andriy Yarmolenko, who hit the open goal.
With no doubt Andriy was Ukraine key player in the first half. He put Americans’ left back Edgar Castillo to a lot of trouble.
After the break two more Dynamo representative took the field – Roman Bezus and Oleh Husiev.
68 minutes into the game Bezus created a scoring chance for Dević and Marco netted the second goal of the match.
Ten minutes before the time another Kyivan Yevhen Makarenko made his debut for the national team.
