FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi answered media questions after the game against Hoffenheim (0:2):
- What prevented you from succeeding today?
- In a nutshell, goals we conceded and goals we didn’t score. If I answer more extensively, it can take a couple of hours.
- How is Brazhko feeling?
- It’s too soon to tell. He’ll be examined later. At the moment he’s doing doping test.
- Did the absence of experienced Yarmolenko and Buialskyi impact the game?
- One needs to understand that these days our football and the country in general are surviving. Getting better is out of question. We need to survive first of all. We can’t sign a lot of skillful foreign players, can’t have a normal training process. To get stronger under these circumstances, we need to play better teams than us.
It’s a great experience – to play against teams that represent top five league of the world, including Germany and Italy. We’ll do the best we can to demonstrate the level we’re capable of.
