FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Vladyslav Kabayev has commented upon the UPL matchday 7 game against FC Rukh Lviv (0:0).
- Of course it’s bitter, to put it mildly. We need to analyze the match. We play a lot of games, but I can’t say we’re tired.
I think Rukh are really good team. They run a lot, but not thoughtlessly. It’s very interesting to oppose such teams. Respect to them. As for us, there’s stuff to work on, we’ll get stronger.
- What did you lack today?
- I guess fans won’t reproach us for a lack of dedication. We fought in every episode, but this is football and you need to score to win. Both sides had chances. We just needed to use those more effectively. I guess we have some finishing issues. We need to keep working to improve this aspect.
- Your next game is against Lazio. In what mood will you approach it?
- It’s good the next game is in four days. If there’s a week, you subconsciously analyze stuff and get upset. But the next match is in a few days. The whole Ukraine will be watching us. I hope a lot of people will come to the stadium. We’ll focus on the game against Lazio the same way we focused on the game against Rukh. We’ll do our best to grab points.
- Have you already analyzed Lazio?
- We’re moving step-by-step. There’s still time to analyze Lazio. They’re good team, so the game will be interesting. We’ve already opposed decent sides and raised the bar, so fans will expect proper result.
- Have you personally watched any Lazio games?
- Frankly speaking, I haven’t yet. Coaches will explain us everything in detail and will show some matches. When we played for Ukraine, we opposed right back Hysaj. He’s a good defender. That’s all I can say so far.
