He’s told out club magazine about motivation that made him move to Kyiv.
- Signing the contract in February you said: “Malaga are good team, but Dynamo can give me more”. What did you mean?
- Featuring for Dynamo I can win trophies. Kyivans are the much-fancied side in domestic league and national cup. We performed quite successfully in the Europa League and next season we’ll feature in the Champions League. With all my respect to Malaga, I can say that it’s difficult for this team to struggle for the title in Spain.
- You’ve already scored several goals from distance for Dynamo. When did that become your main weapon?
- Even when I was a kid I could do that. I’m not afraid of shooting wide. I stay confident. Almost all my goals were scored from outside the box. I keep working on that a lot.
- Your former coach Paulo Fonseca has mentioned that your strengths are speed and shot. What else?
- Fonseca knows me really well. As for my speed, it’s not only about how fast I move, but also about how quickly I render decisions in difficult situations. I try to foresee what happens to be in the right place and at the right time.
