It took him more than three years to reach this aim. This halfback used to feature for FC Hoverla Uzhhorod on loan. Anyway in 2014/2015 season he joined Dynamo and won the domestic league and national cup. Current season is the first one when Vitaliy can be considered to be the main squad rightful player. He’s told the official club magazine about that:
- There’s fierce competition in the team. Even now I can’t say I’m Dynamo first team regular. I must work hard at every training session to prove I’m the best. When I returned to Kyiv last year they gave me a ward reception in the team. What really matters is that the head coach talked to me a lot and was very supportive. Every training session gives me confidence.
- What changed in your life after you became the main squad player?
- Nothing changed. I don’t feel extraordinary attention. Sometimes fans recognize me in the street, but not really often. I’m totally okay with that. Of course in my hometown Kalynivka everyone knows me. I often come to friends’ training session and sometimes play with them when I have vacation.
- Do coaches believe in you?
- I hope so. The training process is very interesting, besides they are really nice people. After training sessions or matches they can point out my mistakes and tell how I should act. Serhiy Rebrov and Raul Riancho want to see teamwork first of all.
- Last season you won two trophies with the team. How do you feel after all those celebrations and awarding ceremonies?
- Superiority complex is out of the question. I don’t think of the domestic title and national cup anymore. This season I want to achieve the same and go as far as we can in the Champions League.
