On September 10 they played a friendly against the team formed of Ukrainian mayors in Ukrainka (Kyiv region). The match was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the town.
Such legendary players as Volodymyr Bezsonov, Vsevolod Romanenko, Serhiy Fedorov, Serhiy Bezhenar, Yuriy Dmytrulin, Ivan Yaremchuk, Ihor Kostiuk, Andriy Annenkov, Artem Yashkin, Olexiy Mykhailychenko, Vasyl Rats, Vitaliy Kosovskyi, Olexandr Zavarov, Vadym Yevtushenko and Oleh Protasov performed for Dynamo. Andriy Biba, Volodymyr Veremeyev and Volodymyr Muntian were their coaches.
The game ended in a draw – 1:1. After the final whistle mayors handed the White-Blues a cup while Kyivans presented them with a ball signed by players. Citizens of Ukrainka had an opportunity to get autographs and take pictures. The football feast in Ukrainka was great!
