On Sunday, September 29, FC Dynamo Kyiv played the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 8 game. The White-Blues faced the UPL newcomers FC Livyi Bereh Kyiv away.
The match started with a trouble for home side. Dynamo managed to finished one of their attacks with a goal. After cross from the corner and fuss inside Livyi Bereh box, Karavayev put a low cross, goalkeeper touched the ball after which Mykhavko netted it – 0:1.
It didn’t take visitors much time to score another one as Yarmolenko hit the target with a hill shot, but the goal was disallowed due to offside.
Livyi Bereh responded with a rapid counterattack. Synytsia was finishing, but Bushchan parried. Then Brazhko took a free kick from distance, but the keeper was there.
The second half started with long-range strike from Brazhko and then Buialskyi hit the crossbar attempting with a chip!
Bushchan had some work to do as well as he reacted to a decent shot by Synytsia. Anyway, in the 62nd minute Brazhko created a small masterpiece. He spotted Livyi Bereh keeper away from goal and attempted from the midfield – 0:2.
Still this didn’t upset the home side and they moved the game towards Dynamo penalty area for some time, but Bushchan and defenders coped with the threat.
Late in the game Livyi Bereh got outnumbered as Samar got the second booking and was sent off. In a stoppage time Rubchynskyi made it 3:0 as he hit the corner from inside the box.
So, it’s 3:0 for the White-Blues. Dynamo will play their next game on Thursday, October 3 – against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the Europa League.
