Olexandr Shovkovskyi took the field instead of Maxym Koval. Domagoj Vida played as center back as Yevhen Khacheridi is injured. Miguel, Ognjen Vukojevic and Roman Bezus played in the midfield. Andriy Yarmolenko has finally recovered from his injury. Dieumerci Mbokani was the only striker.
Game aspects
In the first half the White-Blues played rather slowly. Lens and Yarmolenko weren’t very effective. Never the less Kyivans had two goal-scoring opportunities. 29 minutes into the match Roman Bezus eluded several opponents and passed to Husiev, but Tavria keeper Kahriman cleared Oleh’s shot. Four minutes later Lens put a cross into the box, but Mbokani missed the target from six-yard box.
Three minutes before the break Simferopol side forward Feschuk failed to score from distance.
Dynamo opened the score early in the second half. Roman Bezus hit the far bottom corner.
73 minutes into the match Andriy Yarmolenko scored in one-on-one situation. It was his first goal this season!
It should be mentioned that DynamofootballAcademy trainee Yevhen Makarenko made a substitute appearance 15 minutes before the time.
