FC Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Valentyn Rubchynskyi has told about the training camp in Turkey and preparations for the Europa League games.
- Valentyn, how’re you feeling after the match day?
- Today we mostly did recovery, stretching. Yesterday we played two games, so everyone’s tired.
- This is your first winter training camp with Dynamo. How is it going for you?
- It’s tough, we run a lot. This training camp is much harder than what I had before, but I’ve got accustomed.
- Now you’re in for official match. How difficult was it to recondition personally for you?
- It wasn’t too difficult. Basically it takes like a week and a half to recondition. I think we’re ready, but only official games will show if that’s so.
- Who do you communicate the most in the team?
- With Vanat, Brazhko, Mykhavko and of course Pikhalionok as I’ve known him for quite a while.
- What were the major events in 2024 for you?
- First of all I joined Dynamo. I also represented Ukraine at the Olympic Games which is a great achievement. I wish I had more game practice, but I think the year was quite a success for me.
- You scored Ukraine first goal at the Olympics. What was the best and the worst episode of the last year for you?
- The goal at the Olympics was the best one. The worst thing was that Dnpiro-1 disappeared.
- Which Dynamo players are the most difficult to oppose at the training sessions?
- I’d name Popov and Brazhko as they’re very strong physically.
