Kyivans have defeated AZ Alkmaar in the third qualifying round (2:0) while Gent have outplayed SK Rapid Wien (2:1).
Ex-Dynamo forward Roman Yaremchuk scored the decider for Gent from the penalty spot while another former Kyivan, Roman Bezus, made a substitute appearance 60 minutes into the game.
The first match between Dynamo and Gent will take place on September 23 in Belgium while the second – on September 29 in Kyiv.
The winner will qualify for the Champions League group stage.
