UPL. LNZ – Dynamo – 1:2. Report

FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC LNZ Cherkasy away in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 20 game.

The match started with visitors’ attacks. Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men opened the score in the 12th minute. Karavayev crossed frim the right side, Muravskyi touched the ball and Vivcharenko headed it in in the far post – 0:1.

Kyivans continued creating chances. The shot by Buialskyi after cross from Vivcharenko was blocked. Shaparenko attempted from outside the box – goalkeeper was there. Yarmolenko missed just a bit with a free kick.

Vivcharenko had another opportunity in the 32nd minute, but goalkeeper parried his strike.

Still home side didn’t let visitors increase their lead before the break while early in the second half LNZ suddenly equalized. Jashari sent the ball over Neshcheret with a chip – 1:1.

After that the White-Blues kept attacking. Yarmolenko missed from distance, Vanat was flagged offside in the left wing, the low cross from Karavayev was blocked. Meanwhile LNZ were waiting for a counterattacking opportunity and totally could take the lead. Momoh rushed forward down the center and passed to teammate, but Kabayev was there.

Dynamo were increasing the tempo, but LNZ keeper Kucherenko was doing a great job. He parried the free kick by Buialskyi, the strike by Pikhalionok and the attempt by Guerrero.

Yet the White-Blues managed to grab the winner late in the game. Brazhko attempted from outside the penalty area and home side defender Putria netted own goal – 1:2.

Thus Dynamo gain three points. They’ll play their next game on Tuesday, March 11 – against FC Zoria Luhansk at home ground.
