Dynamo 30-man squad and coaching staff set off to Spain for the second and final mid-season training Feb 8. After a 45-minute delay, the plane took of for a 4.5-hour trip. The sportsmen were welcomed with the sunny warm weather and then traveled on to the Vestin hotel in the town of Marbella, where they are to stay until Feb 22.
The team will have their training sessions conducted at the enormous sports complex. For instance, when the White-Blues arrived at the venue later in the afternoon, Rubin Kazan and Rapid Wien had their practice in full swing. Further on, as Dynamo were training, the three teams were joined by Zenit. Looks like a busy time…
The first practice went on smoothly. Energetic and enthusiastic, the players were putting all their efforts into the job. Only Carlos Corrêa, who picked a shoulder injury at the Channel One Cup final vs. Shaktar, did not participate. The Brazilian was busy training individually.
