Dynamo goalkeeper Oleksandr Shovkovskyy has signed a two-year extension to his current contract that will keep him at the capital club until 2012.
- Apparently, I’ll finish my football career at Dynamo Kyiv, - said the goalie, who marked his 35th birthday a few days ago.
- Oleksandr, how was your vacation? Have you had enough time to summon up fresh energy prior to Dynamo’s winter training camp?
- I had a nice vacation with my wife in the Seychelles. At first we wanted to stay there for two weeks but then we realized how much we missed our daughter. That is why we decided to shorten our stay on the island and changed the return flight date.
- What was your reaction on Mykhailo Mykhailov’s reappointment as Dynamo goalkeeping coach?
- My reaction was absolutely positive. I found out about it right after my return from the Seychelles. I have been knowing Mykhailo Mykhailov for years and I consider him one of the best experts in this field in the post-Soviet space.
